Porter meets Virtualself |Motion graphic

Motion graphic created to visually explore my interpretation of the transformation of the artist Porter Robinson into his Virtual Self. This was created prior to my first time experiencing his Virtual Self performance. The visuals displays the merging of two styles in a mysterious way. This is reflective of my mind trying to grasp the concept of the experience I would soon have.. as I stood in the crowd waiting for the set to start.. waiting to be introduced to a new form of art.. waiting in the darkness between sets, listening for the first sound or light that informs us it is about to begin. The feeling of excitement as the sounds and lights grow stronger captivating the audience as we enter into a new world, filled with new sounds, the unknown world of Virtual Self.
